Bear Studies
The excerpts from studies and articles below are part of a much greater picture. In general, bear numbers are on the increase, however in some areas they may not be. Bear population statistics and bear predation studies are much more accurate in recent years due to advances in study methods, particularly DNA from hair samples and the use of cameras on bears as well as trail cameras.
We welcome quotes from specific predator studies and links to those studies.
