Just want to show you a picture of a mother and three cubs making themselves at home on the streets of McBride. No fear of the underpass or the trains that go over it. I live about 400 yards from town and in our ten-acre bush that basically borders the train tracks and town, we regularly see bears. We had to build an electric fence to keep them out of our garden. The image is sort of cute, but then, the mother is conditioning the cubs to go to shopping in town, and bear already are – in people’s yards and garages, etc. Not so cute when it’s a bear in your yard.
